MLBA Has New Membership Director

The MLBA is pleased to announce that Tom Klauda has joined the MLBA staff as our new Membership Director.  Tom’s initial focus will be to compile our all-new Allied Member Buyers Guide for members of MLBA. This guide will give great value to members of MLBA and should help strengthen our membership levels. Tom will also be overseeing our membership sales team and will be a constant resource for all of your MLBA membership needs.

A little bit about Tom Klauda

Tom was born and raised in Rochester, MN, the youngest of 7 kids. He graduated from Mankato State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Marketing and Management. Tom has comprehensive experience in the food and beverage industry, working several positions in restaurants in high school and college. Then he worked primarily in kitchens as a kitchen manger and chef. He most recently was executive chef at the Piccadilly Supper Club in Mahtomedi, MN from 1994-1999.

After that Tom got into sales with US Foods, Plymouth MN Division, in 1999 and was there 9 years. He then took a sales position with Appert’s/Sysco Western in St. Cloud where he worked until 2015.
Tom, who lives in Woodbury, has a wife, Sonja, and will celebrate their 20 year anniversary in October this year.  He has two children, Erica(16) and Gavin(13). Tom’s interests include golf, fishing, boating and attending his kids’ sporting events.
