Thirty breweries, not including brewpubs, opened to the public in 2017 in Minnesota. This compares to 17 new breweries in 2016 and 19, respectively, in 2015 and 2014. In fact over 120 breweries have launched in Minnesota since 2008. Even though a few have failed since then, there still remains over 110 breweries in the state.
