Paul Carpenter who owned the Third Base Bar in Carlton, MN, passed away on October 23rd. Paul grew up in Carlton and graduated from Carlton High School in 1979. In 1982, he and Mike Balow purchased the Third Base Bar in Carlton and owned it until 2004.
Paul was a strong supporter of small businesses especially in MLBA District 7 (NE Minnesota). He was a Board Member of MLBA in the early 2000’s and was awarded the “Tavern of the Year” award by MLBA in 2003.
