MLBA statement on new Minneapolis restrictions on bar space

(St. Paul, Minn) – Today Minneapolis Jacob Frey signed a new Emergency Order restricting bar use space. Minnesota Licensed Beverage Association Executive Director, Tony Chesak, issued the following statement in response.

“Broad brushing the entire industry in Minneapolis is overreaching. Most bars and restaurants are complying, which is what we’re hearing from the regulators. Punishing those who are complying is uncalled for.”
