89 Years Ago Today

The greatest wrong in the history of the United States [slight exaggeration] was righted on December 5, 1933 when the 21st Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was ratified. The 21st Amendment repealed the 19th Amendment that outlawed alcohol in 1919. The new law put higher regulations on the sale, distribution and manufacture of beer wine and spirits in the States which are still in effect today (the so-called Three-Tier-System of producers, distributors and retailers.)
