Representative Keith Franke (who owns Franke’s in St. Paul Park) led a press conference on the bill (HF 2366) that was inserted into an omnibus bill with no committee hearings that would basically eliminate all current forms of electronic gaming and electronic linked bingo. Also speaking at the press conference were Senators Karin Housley and Mary Kiffmeyer plus a representative from a charity “Merrick Community Services” and a gambling manager from Legion Post 98 along with MLBA Executive Director Tony Chesak.
