MLBA is Moving Offices October 1st

Hospitality Industry,

We are proud to announce that the MLBA offices are moving!  As of October 1st, our new offices will be located at 475 Etna Street, #11, St. Paul, MN 55106. Click here for a Google Map of the new location.

We anticipate an uncertain number of bars and restaurants in our industry may, in fact, go out of business as a result of not only COVID-19 as well as the state mandates that bars and restaurants are being required to operate their businesses under.  To make matters worse, the MLBA and all other 501(c)6 Nonprofit Trade Associations currently do not qualify for PPP Loans or any other types of financial assistance or relief.

In lieu of the impact of COVID-19 along with the state mandates, we felt it was in our best interest to be fiscally responsible and do whatever it takes to continue to keep the the MLBA in a strong financial position so we can continue to represent you and our industry to the best of our ability both locally and at the state and federal levels of government.  That said, we made the decision to downsize our offices and save money.  This is a prudent step for the organization.

Reducing overhead will allow us to be a more efficient association and also allow us to increase our footprint as leaders in our state’s licensed alcohol industry.  We will continue to be the watchdogs for the hospitality industry and professionally represent you.  Thank you for your continued support as we do our best to support our industry.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

Respectfully submitted,

Tony Chesak
